Method

Our Method is an approach to organizational success, built upon 6 Tenets, that we feel are core requirements of a healthy business.

Each tenet supports and enhances all other tenets; and when each tenet is optimized, an organization has the best chance of realizing its Vision.

Since no two organizations are the same, neither are the ways to optimize them; so we design bespoke solutions for each client, using the 6-Tenets Method.

Tenet 1: Vision & Purpose

A strong vision unifies an organization around a single purpose; it inspires motivation and commitment; it provides guidance for every decision; and helps maintain focus and persistence during challenging times.

Every organization must start and end with a worthy vision.

Tenet 2: Innovation & Value

An organization that advances society, or solves a societal problem, with a unique product or service is invaluable to society; and when it offers that product or service at a great price it garners a strong reputation, customer loyalty and competitive advantage.

An organization that also continually innovates internally can expect more efficient and effective operations, resilience to changining customer needs and market conditions, and to stay ahead of competitors with new products, services or processes.

Tenet 3: Organization & Systems

A well designed organizational architecture, and the systems that support it, are the backbone of a successful business.

Organization and systems create clarity around roles, responsibilities and communication to boost productivity and morale; they build efficiency, consistency and scalability into every process; they simplify problem-solving; and they drive performance.

Tenet 4: Strategy & Goals

Visions serve as an organization's final destination, and an organization with a roadmap is an organization that progresses toward that destination.

A well-defined strategy, paired with SMART goals, can set a clear course of actions, toward the vision, that leverage an organization's strengths to stay ahead of competition, that are adaptable to changes in the market, and that prioritize resources optimally to get farther, using less.

A good roadmap can be the difference between reaching a destination, veering off-course or wandering aimlessly.

Tenet 5: Skill & Curiosity

When ideas are a dime-a-dozen, and luck, money and fame remain an unreliable catalyst of business success, investing in the collective skill of an organization fortifies it against uncertainty and adversity.

Skills are the foundation of competence, and the primary force behind the realization of any idea or plan. An organization that has a culture of curiousity has an insatiable appetite to expand its skills and discover new wisdom. An organization that learns, is an organization that leads.

Tenet 6: Integrity & Fairness

The nature of organizing and doing business with people relies on trust, reliability and fair exchanges. Operating in any way that isn't performed with integrity and fairness invites significant short and long-term risk to an organization's success.

An organization that operates with integrity and fairness creates advocates; those that dont, create adversaries, both externally and internally.

Ensuring each element of an organization aligns with these values, however difficult, sets it on a sound path toward its vision.
